What does Santa eat at your house?
At our house, it's the traditional milk and cookies (though I tried to talk him into pickles and a Coke).
This year, he is having Chocolate Chip Snickers Cookies.
I have tried a lot of chocolate chip cookie recipes and this one from Smitten Kitchen is by FAR the best both my boyfriend and I have ever had. They are just as the title describes- both crispy and chewy.
For the Snickers cookies, I only used 1 cup of chocolate chips (also, I used milk chocolate).
I chilled the dough for a few hours and when I was ready to drop it, I grabbed about a tablespoon of dough, flattened it and smooshed a couple small pieces of Snickers into it and then rolled it into a ball, making the candy the center of the cookie. These cook perfectly in 11 minutes in my oven.
Can you see that caramely goodness oozing out? Yum.
This is where Santa's cookies will reside until he comes down the chimney.
Don't you love how you can see the shadow of me in the plate? Ha.
Before I cropped it, you could also see Pam from the Office. : )
In other news:
I won a burlap magnet board from Tatertots and Jello at Simply Modern Mom! I am so excited because Jen's creations inspire me SO much! Thanks Modern Mom and Jen!
Also, what do you think of this font? I am sick of the other one. There aren't a lot of choices! Sad.

These look amazing! :) I'm going to have to try these... and it'll give me an excuse to buy some snickers bars ;)
