High Risk, High Reward

I'm still working on the blog, as you can see. We had a long and not-so-restful, but really fun weekend away for a friend's wedding this past weekend and I am trying to quickly get back in the groove.

Really exciting news is that I have booked a few portfolio building photography sessions in the next month. I have some really, really cute little models. I couldn't be any happier about this! I started really loving photography about a year and a half ago and that love has only grown stronger. I am nowhere near professional or anything like that, but I am really excited to see where this journey takes me and my family.

I've been really trying to work on my Photoshop editing lately. Scary stuff, but so worth the reward.
Evan and I had a little mini session together near our house last week and I thought I'd share some of my favorites..

My heart skips 17 beats when I just know that I have captured an image like this. One that I know that I will love, love, love.
